“Why waste all that money on developing future leaders when you can just as easily head hunt them from your competitor?”

 

 

All moralising aside, isn’t this really a viable way of acquiring top talent? And isn’t it a cheaper option as well? Of course there’s a lot to be said for developing people from within and perpetuating the culture but at the end of the day surely ‘buying’ top talent is quite an attractive option? What do you think?
